Home		Prospect Asset Management, Inc. is a Hawaii-based investment advisory firm founded by Curtis Freeze in 1994. Prospect Asset Management is respected as a specialist in Japanese investments. The company invests in Japan, looking for companies with superior earnings growth at below average valuations. Prospect is largely focused on undiscovered domestic growth companies. Since we believe domestic growth has been poor for a decade, the market has paid a premium for liquidity and companies exposed to the export markets and technology in particular. While Japan’s Topix Index has bottomed several times at the same level in the last decade, its composition has moved from around 25% in technology and telecommunications and export related companies to nearly 50%. Domestic growth appears to be now improving in absolute and relative terms and a re-alignment is likely, especially in the undervaluation of domestic stocks.
